John David Coupland - To the Church

A collection of thoughtful hymns from a Scottish worship leader in a gentle folksie style. All songs suitable for congregational singing. John wrote these songs in 2013 and although the themes are themselves timeless, they resonate today in the state of the world and the Church. With regards to style, the Scottish influence is obvious, the object is to provide songs that will not just fade away like manna but which will stand the test of time. These memorable melodies and poignant lyrics will aid your walk with Christ and your understanding of His Word. The instruments used are acoustic guitar with strings, choir and bass provided by Roland and Korg keyboards. John is at the grandad stage of life and still happily married after 40 odd years. He works as a music teacher and is employed as a worship leader in the Church of Scotland.
